A department of USG’s Information Technology Services (ITS), Cybersecurity represents the University System to the federal, state, and local government entities, higher education, private industry, and others on security-related matters. Cybersecurity is committed to securing the University System’s information assets toward creating a more educated and secure Georgia.
Data Services is a systemwide resource for Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI). Our services and technologies provide institutions with a strong foundation for a successful BI program with complete ownership of their own data. A partnership with the Data Services program ensures the authentication and accuracy of data that institutions require for producing official reports and making well informed decisions.

Internal USO Services
These internal services help University System Office (USO) staff communicate and collaborate with colleagues, customers, and other external contacts.
PeachNet® is the USG’s statewide network that connects all USG organizations and supports communication and collaboration tools for students, faculty and administrators. ITS’ own PeachNet® services is not part of a commercial telecommunications service. The network provides efficient and robust access to mission-critical online learning resources, business applications and transactions, and academic research. PeachNet® supports access to a rich variety of voice, video and data applications that enhance learning, research and collaboration on and off campuses.
These services facilitate IT support requests and ensure customers are informed of any disruptions to USO IT services.
These services help University System of Georgia students, faculty, and staff obtain a wide range of software for academic or personal use.
Provides web design, development and administrative support for a variety of websites for the University System Office and additional services related directly to the web.
