System Office Training:
Some individuals have clear ideas when it comes to career goals; others are uncertain. The USO Career Development workshop will provide staff with an opportunity to learn key steps in the career development process. The goal of workshop is to provide information, insight, and the resources needed to increase your awareness of individual responsibility in career development.
This training workshop will allow participants to:
- Evaluate their skills, career goals, and values
- Identify solutions to barriers in career development
- Begin constructing a career development plan

Our version of the SkillSoft online training system is called PATHS. PATHS is a robust on-line learning solution offered by the USG Office of Organizational Development. Through PATHS, staff can access thousands training courses, online versions of top-selling leadership and management books, interactive courseware, hands-on simulations, and a multitude of other learning solutions. PATHS includes courses that align with all of the USG leadership competencies. The USO Learning Competency for Summer 2014 is Decision Making skills.
