Great from the Middle

USG Great from the Middle (GFTM) is a development program for current managers/supervisors at USG institutions, specifically those at the Director level or below with direct reports who have a high potential for growth. This program aims to enhance leadership skills for those "leading in the middle." USG GFTM will consist of six sessions, two in-person and four virtual. 

LID will be rolling this program out in a regional approach. Each campus will have the opportunity for 10 eligible individuals to participate in their regional cohort and will have their own process for nominating and disseminating details to their campus. 

Regional Cohorts:

• Central Cohort - Spring 2025 - MGA, GCSU, FVSU, Gordon State, Columbus State
• Southwest Cohort - Fall 2025/Spring 2026 - ABAC, Albany State, VSU, SGSC, GSW
• North Cohort - Fall 2025/Spring 2026 - UNG, GHC, Dalton State, UGA, GGC
• Southeast Cohort - Fall 2026/Spring 2027 - Georgia Southern, SSU, CCG, EGSC, AU
• Metro Cohort - Fall 2026/Spring 2027 - AMSC, Clayton State, UWG, GSU, GA Tech, KSU
