Academic Common Market Redesign

Project Status

Completed November 2021

Project Overview

The Academic Common Market is a tuition-savings program for college students in the 15 member states of the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) who want to pursue degrees not offered by their in-state institutions. Students can enroll in out-of-state institutions that offer their degree program and pay the institution’s in-state tuition rates. Georgia students who have been accepted into approved fields of study at participating SREB institutions must complete a Georgia Academic Common Market application process. This project seeks to optimize and improve upon our existing application process by leveraging new technologies and streamlined business procedures.

Project Benefits

Make it easier for Georgia students to apply for the Academic Common Market.

Faster ACM application turnaround times.

Utilize technology to improve process efficiency, sustainability, and security.
