The University System of Georgia - Office of Information Security is the primary USG authority in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of USG information and information systems, and ensuring the protection of USG information. Our office represents the University System to the federal, state, and local government entities, higher education, private industry, and others on security-related matters. We are committed to securing the University System's information assets toward creating a more educated and secure Georgia.

The USG Office of Information Security is extremely excited to launch the USG InfoSec Newsletter. The newsletter will be a monthly newsletter/ designed to keep all USG employees informed and up-to-date on information security news around the System and beyond.
The newsletter will include:
- InfoSec laws/regulations/policies and secure business practices
- Technology issues
- Awareness issues
Please feel free to pass the newsletter far and wide, as the newsletter covers broad topics in information security in higher education and other industries.
