Media Advisory: Board of Regents to Meet at Armstrong Atlantic State University

Atlanta — April 15, 2005

The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia will hold their April meeting on the campus of Armstrong Atlantic State University.

The two-day monthly meeting is set for Tues. and Wed., April 19-20, 2005, at Armstrong Atlantic State University’ Armstrong Center Technology Conference Center. The meeting will be held in the Technology Conference Center’s Board Room.

One of the key agenda items scheduled for this meeting is the approval of the University System’s operating budget for Fiscal Year 2006 and the setting of tuition and fees for the 2005-2006 academic year at all 34 of the state’s public colleges and universities.

WHAT: April meeting of the Board of Regents

WHEN: Open Committee meetings begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2005, followed by the full board meeting at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2005. The board meeting reconvenes at 9:00 a.m. – Noon, Wednesday, April 20, 2005.
