Communications serves as the central communications source for the University System of Georgia. Our mission is to communicate in a proactive manner the goals, agenda and accomplishments of the Board of Regents to a broad-based constituency – particularly to such primary audiences as state legislators; key national, regional and local media; key business and industry leaders and other key decision-makers, as well as the public at large.

University System of Georgia enrollment climbed this fall to an all-time record of 382,142 students. The 4.8% increase in enrollment over Fall 2024 marks a third consecutive year of growth for the system.
