Career planning tool for student success before and after graduation
The University System of Georgia has launched a new career planning tool for students at its 26 public colleges and universities to provide additional career counseling services and connect them to information about the field they want to work in.

The overall number of degrees awarded by University System of Georgia institutions in FY2025 increased by 7.9% over the previous fiscal year, reaching a new all-time high for the system of 82,607 degrees conferred annually. The increase this past fiscal year is the most significant year-over-year increase the system has seen in the last decade.
University System of Georgia Chancellor Sonny Perdue named Dr. William R. “Bill” Crowe as interim president of Valdosta State University, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
