The University System Office (USO) has adopted and disseminated standards in support of the overall goal of building an Integrated Learning Environment.
Technology Approval Process
The USO requires procurement policies and procedures for purchasing and requesting approval for information technology resources.
Office of Information and Instructional Technology (OIIT)
OIIT is the University System of Georgia's (USG) resource for academic and administrative technology support, services, and solutions.
Advanced Learning Technologies (ALT)
ALT leads the University System and its institutions in the strategic uses of technology as an integral part of the academic enterprise to expand access, enhance learning, enrich opportunities and establish innovative finance and governance models.
Adminstrative Committee for Information Technology (ACIT)
ACIT is comprised of representatives from each USG institution and addresses policies and procedures affecting information technology within the USG.
