Project Overview

The FAFSA Verification Shared Support Cohort 3 project is a collaborative effort between the University System Office (USO), Shared Services Center (SSC), Information Technology Services (ITS), and participating cohort 3 institutions. In order to reduce the burden of Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) verification at the institutions, specific Shared Services staff will support and manage institutional FAFSA verification efforts.

• Reduced burden related to FAFSA verification for Financial Aid staff at cohort 3 institutions.
• Allows institutional Financial Aid staff to focus on customer service.
• Improve overall student experience with respect to financial aid.
