System-wide Development

Leadership and Institutional Development (LID) offers a number of programs to support the development and growth of USG leaders. Each program has different time commitments and structures. You can read about each by using the navigation bar or using the links below:

• CBO Flywheel - USG's Chief Business Officer (CBO) Flywheel Accelerated Development Program aims to cultivate system-wide talent of individuals interested in learning more about the CBO role.
• Great from the Middle - USG Great from the Middle (GFTM) is a development program for current managers/supervisors at USG institutions, specifically those at the Director level or below with direct reports who have a high potential for growth. 
• Great Basics - Great Basics is a virtual workshop series offered to USG institutional employees as a way for individuals to learn and build leadership-related skills through interactive sessions. 
• Great Start - USG Great Start is a virtual session that provides information about the role of the system in educating Georgia.
