A Research Project: Example 1
Step 5
In area three of the search screen, there are three databases already pre-selected. (After all, the top of the screen did say “Search Multiple Databases.”) You decide to search those databases because “Academic Search Complete” and “Research Library (at ProQuest)” are described as “covers all topics.” “Encyclopædia Britannica” will be the first article you read to get an overview of the topic.
Although you decide not to search other databases now, you click on “Show more databases” and notice one database, “Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection,” that might have additional articles. You write down the name of the database in your research notes in case you want to search it later.
