Getting a flu shot is the best way to protect yourself from getting sick with the flu. Plus it may also protect people around you who are more vulnerable to serious flu illness, like young children, older people, and those with certain chronic health conditions.
It’s quick to do and conveniently offered this fall at a number of USG institutions. And don’t forget—no-cost biometric screenings are also being offered!

The Flu Shot & Biometric Screening events will follow CDC, state and local COVID-19 safety guidelines. Masks will be required. The check-in, waiting, screening and vaccination areas will be set up to allow for social distancing between participants. Please schedule your appointment ahead of time to reduce crowds on site.

What do I need to bring? Your ID and your healthcare prescription card.

A biometric screening is an easy way to check in on important health measures such as cholesterol, glucose and blood pressure. Knowing your numbers is key to getting you on the path to improving your well-being. Plus, earn a $50 well-being credit in 2022 for participating!
Do I need to fast before my appointment? You are encouraged to fast for 8 hours before your appointment for the most accurate results, but it is not required. Non-fasting participants will not get LDL or Triglyceride readings.
