February is Heart Health Month

A heart-healthy lifestyle is important for everyone, not just for people with existing health problems. It can help you keep your heart and blood vessels healthy. If you already have health problems, such as high cholesterol or high blood pressure, a healthy lifestyle can help you lower your risk of a heart attack and stroke.

Try these tips to keep your heart healthy:

As an Anthem member, you can log daily activity and earn up to $40 for tracking your steps or other fitness activities. In the Sydney app, go to My Health Dashboard > My Rewards.

As a Kaiser Permanente member, you can participate in the exercise healthy lifestyle program or get wellness coaching by phone on kp.org/engage to learn how to make healthier food choices.  Completing this program is one step closer to earning a $100 gift card!
