Narrowing a Search
To help refine your search parameters
You can narrow your search to restrict the language, location, date, or format of items whose records you retrieve.
You can narrow a search before you run your search by clicking on the Narrow My Search button on the bottom right of the Keyword search or Exact search screen.
You can select single or multiple limits on this screen. To select multiple limits in the same field, hold down the control key and click each selection.
If you select multiple limits, only records that meet all of the limits will be returned in your search.
Limits will remain in effect until you clear them by clicking on Clear Settings on the Narrow My Search screen.
