Atlanta — June 8, 2010

Governor Sonny Perdue has signed SB 308, which addresses where guns may legally be carried by licensed carry holders in Georgia. Part of the new law relates to guns on the campuses of the University System of Georgia. Below is the official statement of the Board of Regents and Chancellor Erroll B. Davis Jr. on this legislation being signed.

“The University System of Georgia will comply with the new law and notify our students, faculty and staff of how it will affect them.”
