The USG is happy to welcome Dr. Marcus Johnson as the newly named Director of Faculty Development and the Center for Teaching and Learning at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC).

As he steps into the role of director, Dr. Johnson is working to implement a New Faculty Teaching Mentorship Program for ABAC, which includes interdisciplinary learning communities and peer observation. He will also be meeting individually with new faculty members to help them determine appropriate future topics of exploration, and to engage in peer observation.

Dr. Johnson was formerly the head of the education department at ABAC, where he led the effort to create an Agricultural Education program.
