MINI-GRANTS AWARDED FOR TOBACCO CESSATION

As part of the USG HR wellness initiative and in support of the new USG Tobacco & Smoke-Free campus policy which goes into effect on October 1, 2014, the USO HR office has officially approved the mini-grant proposals for 12 USG institutions, totaling to more than $40,000 to be used to promote tobacco cessation for faculty and staff!! As a reminder, the funds can be used for classes, prizes, incentives, communications, or even for supplies for activities focused on tobacco cessation!
