New Website is Cyber-Security Resource

The new of the University System of Georgia (USG) Office of Information Security (OIS) website is a handy resource when you need help with information-security issues, policies, procedures and standards.

The site contains information about training, events, hot topics, the nation’s current security threat level and a library of resources. You’ll also find instructions for reporting an information-security incident.

“The Office of Information Security provides strategic leadership and practical support for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the University System of Georgia’s information, information systems and applications, and also for ensuring the protection of state agencies’ information,” said Stanton S. Gatewood, who was appointed earlier this year as the University System’s Chief Information Security Officer.
