Chancellor Hank Huckaby has embarked on a quest to visit all USG institutions and Skidaway institute by the end of November. Since his first visit to Georgia Tech since July, Chancellor Huckaby has visited 29 campuses, Skidaway Institute and the UGA-Griffin Campus.
In his October report to the Board of Regents, Chancellor Huckaby said, “On every campus visit, students have expressed their pride in their institution. All the students I have met have been very candid and frank. No one holds back. In many instances it is interesting is that students are asking as tough or tougher questions than faculty! When I talk to students and faculty I find that their thoughts and concerns fit the thematic outlines I put forth in the August meeting: those of performance, partnership and the value of higher education.”
In November, Chancellor Huckaby will finish his campus visits, visiting Macon State College, Georgia State University, Darton College, Atlanta Metropolitan College, Middle Georgia College and Georgia Southwestern State University.
