Meeting Minutes: Regents Advisory Committee on Records and Admissions (RACRA)

The July 16, 2002 RACRA Meeting at Jekyll Island, Georgia was called to order at 1:05 p.m.
Tonya Lam from the Board of Regents addressed the following subjects:

SEVIS - July 1st effective changes. Handout regarding changes is forthcoming.

User Groups - Tonya Lam said that user groups would be implemented. She asked for two user groups. Groups will assist with new changes and problems. Asked that each institution select one person to serve on user group committee.

Residency - With regards to residency, Tonya Lam said that the "Redbook" would be available on-line by July 24, 2002.

Military Admissions - Committee examining this issue was still in the discovery stage.

Georgia Easy - All USG institutions are required to have an on-line application with Georgia Easy.

SIRS - There are new codes to be used on the translation table for GED students.
