Support institutions in enhancing or creating powerful development infrastructures.
Activities for Implementation

Establish Systemwide project on philanthropy

Encourage and counsel institutions on how to create professional development offices

Help institutions explore acquisition of wealth database systems and consulting services

Encourage institutions to set goals for and plan comprehensive capital campaigns

Enhance regular meetings of System development officers by inviting and funding visits by fundraising experts (e.g., nationally prominent development vice presidents and consultants)
