2011 USGSC Annual Conference Information
Greetings USGSC Representatives:
This is a quick update on plans for this year’s statewide conference to be held at The University System of Georgia in Athens, GA on Wednesday, October 5 and Thursday, October 6. The council meeting, which will be open to all conference attendees, will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wed., followed by a break for snacks and hotel check-in at 3:00. There will be an hour-long workshop at 3:30, a reception at 5:30, dinner at 7, and after-dinner fun. Thursday will kick off with a breakfast buffet and a two-part session to cover the morning. Folks should be able to leave around 2:00, following lunch and door-prize giveaways. More details will be forthcoming. Registration website isn’t ready just yet, but please go ahead and mark your calendars!
The conference will have an area for exhibits by all the member schools, so get out your display boards and photos and lists of accomplishments to share with everyone!

Update Just received on Registration:
Registration officially opens June 1, 2011.

I just wanted to let you guys know that registration is not active yet but the sponsor and Exhibitor link is live on the right just under where you register.
Once we have the agenda finalized I’ll send an email about registration going live. We want people to be able to register for the workshops when they register for the conference so this is what we are finalizing now.

Please contact me if there if there is a chance to present at the 2012 conference. We recently gave a Financial Literacy presentation at CASFAA, and would love to do something similar at the USGSC event.
