Complete College Georgia

Our most important initiative to help more Georgians further their education is Complete College Georgia. A major part of this effort is the “Go Back. Move Ahead.” campaign. “Go Back. Move Ahead.” is designed to help the more than one million Georgians who have completed some college to return and finish their degrees.

2016 Retiree Healthcare Change

In November 2013, the Board of Regents approved a change to the retiree healthcare benefit. Effective January 1, 2016, the University System of Georgia will provide supplemental healthcare coverage for Medicare-eligible retirees through a private retiree healthcare exchange instead of through the USG healthcare plan.
