Delegated Authority for Capital Projects

At their August 8, 2007 meeting, the Board of Regents approved significant revisions to Section 9.4, Project Authorization, within the Board of Regents Policy Manual, Section 9, Facilities. These revisions clarify that the University System chief facilities officer's delegated authority to approve projects under $1 million applies only to projects that conform with the accepted campus master plan. The revisions also allow the University System chief facilities officer to further delegate any or all of his or her project authorization authority to the institution presidents.
