Cross Cultural Teaching Initiative
This project partners with Gwinnett County Schools and Georgia State University to develop and deliver a Cross Cultural Endorsement for in-service teachers who will train other teachers in the knowledge, skills, and understandings needed to close the achievement gap between ethnic minority students, economically disadvantaged students, and majority students. It is an outgrowth of the African-American Male Initiative launched by the University System of Georgia to increase enrollment, continuation, and completion of traditionally underserved populations.
