The 38th Annual Computing Conference will be held Thursday, November 12 starting at 8:00 a.m. and lasting through the evening with planned social events. Attending the Rock Eagle Conference has become a tradition for many staff and faculty because of the unique environment, leading edge sessions, state-of-the-art exhibitors, and the social opportunities. Once you've attended one Rock Eagle Conference you'll be hooked!
This event is specifically intended for technical faculty and staff of the University System of Georgia colleges and universities. The attendance at last year's conference reached over 700 attendees, which included IT directors, computer services staff, faculty and library staff.
Registration this year is free as we deliver Rock Eagle in a new format. No guarantees that the “free” will continue so you best take advantage of it now. While we would encourage groups to gather in a single room on campus utilizing a computer and projection system, single registrations from campus and off campus will be accepted from all USG faculty and staff.
We do need you to register so we can plan on approximately how many will be attending the three tracks.
An excellent opportunity for you to be able to learn new skills and techniques while working with old friends and making new ones
No cabin assignments as you get to sleep in your own bed this year!
An experimental attitude that is willingly to learn through a different environment.
15 sessions on state-of-the-art technology, dedicated exhibit hours, and lots of giveaways. Plus a variety of social events conducted online starting in the evening. The Golf Tournament will live on!!!
