USG Annual Computing Conference Information
At this time, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Rock Eagle Annual Computing Conference originally scheduled October 21-23, 2009.
Due to the current economic climate and its impact on our institutions' budgets, as well as the likelihood for further reductions next year, canceling the conference is a prudent choice. Furthermore, there are a large number of high priority projects that are competing for limited IT resources both within OIIT and on our campuses that are already severely straining the personnel resources that would be needed to support and to participate in the conference.
We do plan to offer online sessions this fall to continue to bring you the latest in information technology and to foster communication and collaboration between and among OIIT and the campuses. Watch for further details.
We will continue to hold our reservation for the Rock Eagle facility for 2010 and hope to see you at that time.
