Resource Management

Resource Management focuses on the efficient and effective deployment of resources and facilitates all administrative policy and business operations for OIIT pertaining to contracts, software licenses, human resources, budgets, and financials.

Resource Management works cooperatively with other areas of OIIT to provide services in the following areas:

• Develop and oversee budgets across all OIIT divisions and ensure that OIIT operates within budget through sound financial management

• Serve as point of contact for all internal contracts for software and services used across the System and for external contracts enabling institutional purchases of software and services

• Facilitate interactions with Human Resource Management service provider

• Manage vendor relations through contract negotiations between institutions and vendors

• Provides administrative support for OIIT

• Manage OIIT’s Athens facility

• Provide technology and telecommunication support and services for the Board of Regents’ System Office staff

• Supports conferences, training, and special events, including the following:
  • Academic Committee on Information Technology (ACIT) quarterly meetings
  • GALILEO Interconnected Libraries (GIL) Users Group Meeting
  • Georgia Summit Conference
  • University System Annual Computing Conference (Rock Eagle)
