SCIE Policy Statement on Insurance Coverage for Study Abroad Insurance
To follow is the text of a motion forwarded from the USG Study Abroad Committee that was passed by the System Council on International Education at its meeting on January 27, 2006.
Motion: "That health insurance be mandatory for all students participating in USG study abroad programs, and that sponsoring USG institutions should determine the appropriate coverages, policies, and vendors for its programs."
