Councils, Committees, and Institutional Resources
The University System of Georgia sponsors a variety of councils and committees that support collaboration and coordination in international education. The System encourages institutions to work together to accomplish goals and develop programs that may be difficult for an individual college or university to achieve or sustain independently.
System Council on International Education (SCIE)
Created in 1998, SCIE is the USG's primary international education governance advisory board. It is composed of representatives appointed by the presidents of each of the System's 35 institutions. Council members serve two-year terms and are the official liaisons for all Regents' communications and program initiatives.
