Atlanta — May 9, 2006

A Special Called Meeting of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia will be convened Thursday, May 11, at 8:00 a.m., rather than the originally announced time of 8:30 a.m. The meeting will be conducted via a telephone conference call.

The purpose of the meeting is for the Board of Regents to select the next president of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and to discuss other personnel matters.

The meeting will be held in executive session. The board’s actions will be reported at the conclusion of the closed session.
