WHY:
Higher education has long been identified as a key driver for economic growth, through the creation of knowledge, of a highly educated workforce and the research work that leads to the development of new products and businesses. This forum has a two-fold purpose: one, to celebrate and showcase some of the research and commercialization taking place at the University System of Georgia’s four research universities and two, to spark a conversation about the future direction the University System should consider in strengthening its work to support Georgia’s economic development through its research mission.

NOTE:
If you plan to attend and cover all or parts of this event, please contact John Millsaps to confirm – 404-962-3053
