2011-2012 ELI Application Extended!

We have received numerous requests for additional time to complete the ELI application; therefore, we have extended the application deadline to 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 12.
As a reminder, the ELI targets emerging leaders who are currently employed as a Chair, Dean, Executive Director or above, and who have a combination of experience, education and the core leadership competencies that are essential to the System’s future success. The leaders you nominate should be your institution’s best leaders leaders who have the potential and qualifications that enable promotion into higher level management positions such as Provost, Vice President, Chief Officer, etc. within the next 6 - 12 months, if such a position becomes available. We want to ensure we invest our resources wisely to develop our future leaders and build adequate bench strength to support our institutions.
The revised key dates for the application/nomination process are as follows:
· Eligible candidates submit applications: June 29 – August 12 · Chief Human Resources Officers and/or Selection Committee screen applications: August 12 – August 17 · Nominations due to USO: August 18 · USO notifies scholars: August 18 – August 23 · Scholars complete profile: August 23 – September 7 · Orientation Luncheon - September 7, 11:00 a.m. at the Georgia Tech Hotel
