The Center for Health Workforce Planning and Analysis is a unit of the University System of Georgia’s Office of Academic Affairs. Reporting to the Center’s Executive Director, the Center’s staff provide significant contributions in the areas of data and research, strategic initiatives and policy analysis.

A central component of the Center is the Health Professions Advisory Committee (HPAC), which provides strategic direction and guidance for the Center’s work. The members of the HPAC include one representative from each of the University System’s four research institutions, one representative from a select group of the University System’s remaining institutions that rotate every two years, one representative from the Technical College System of Georgia, one representative from the Georgia Department of Education, one representative from the Governor’s Office of Workforce Development, one representative from the Georgia Statewide Area Health Education Center Network, and one representative from the field of Public Health.
