Middle Georgia State College is a four-year college with five campuses located in urban and rural cities in the center of the state of Georgia. The college is dedicated to providing a dynamic, learning-centered, caring and technically advanced environment of excellence. As a residential institution, the college pursues innovative opportunities to provide services to its traditional and non-traditional students and will maintain a recognized legacy of affordable higher education and community support services of the highest quality.

On-campus student housing is offered at three of the college’s campuses – at the main campus in Macon, as well as satellite campuses in Cochran and Eastman. Additional campuses are located in Dublin and Warner Robins. The college offers bachelor’s and associate’s degrees, along with a large number of certificates focused primarily on the aviation industry. The Eastman Campus hosts our aviation programs, offering degrees and instruction in airplane, helicopter and airport facilities disciplines. The numerous bachelor’s degrees offered by the college are focused on serving the needs of Middle Georgia employers, and they include programs such as nursing, education, business and information technology.

More than 8,000 students attend Middle Georgia State, which boasts a diverse student body composed of students from throughout Georgia. An active, enthusiastic student life program engages students in activities that are fun, educational and entertaining, while also offering leadership training for those who choose to be involved. An honors program is available for students, offering them expanded opportunities for growth and learning, and programs such as band and theater engage students in the performing arts. Students enjoy participating in or watching the competition of athletes in eight sports, including basketball, baseball, softball, tennis and soccer. The athletics program is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Middle Georgia State is one of the University System’s most affordable education options, providing students with great value – an excellent degree in demand by local businesses, convenient locations connected to excellent transportation facilities and superb recreation and wellness facilities. Additionally, the geographic location of MGSC’s campuses make it convenient for students to visit the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, attractions in Florida, the mountains of north Georgia or cultural and entertainment events in Macon and Atlanta.
