Georgia Perimeter College (GPC), a regional nonresidential two-year multi-campus institution, strives to meet the changing expectations of our diverse collegiate and community constituencies by providing effective, innovative, lifelong educational opportunities. Placing learning first, GPC provides accessible and affordable high quality undergraduate credit and noncredit programs for students seeking to complete an associate degree, transfer to a senior college or university, prepare for immediate entry into a career, pursue personal goals or enhance current workplace skills.

  • Georgia Perimeter College is among the nation’s fastest-growing metropolitan two-year colleges. With almost 23,000 students, GPC is the third-largest institution in the University System of Georgia. GPC’s “On-Line” program is the largest in Georgia, with over 5,000 students enrolled. International students account for 15 percent of the total student population and represent 147 countries.

  • The curriculum specializes in liberal arts and professional preparation. Award-winning faculty teach Georgia Perimeter College students in small classes. Thirty faculty members have received the National Teaching Excellence Award since 2001, and GPC has the largest number of Governor’s Teaching Fellows (18) in Georgia since 2001.

  • Students may enroll in one of a wide variety of associate degree programs including business administration, computer information systems, nursing, dental hygiene, fire management, political science and teacher education. Also offered are cooperative degree programs with DeKalb Technical and Gwinnett Technical colleges.

  • Every year since 2006, the institution has recorded its highest number of enrolled students in its history, and it has 23 Transfer Admission Guarantees (TAGs) with four-year institutions across the state. These agreements guarantee GPC students seats at some of the best institutions in the state. Research shows 60 percent of GPC’s students transfer to four-year colleges.

  • GPC offers 27 associate degrees, 4 career and technical degrees through its six locations in metro Atlanta and 9 dual degree programs with DeKalb Tech GPC.

  • GPC has an economic impact on metro Atlanta of more than $504 million.
