VISN-L Listserv (Vista VISNARIES USG Faculty/Staff Forum)
PURPOSE: The Office of Information and Instructional Technology (OIIT) would like to announce the availability of the GeorgiaVIEW VISNARIES (VISN-L) USG faculty listserv community. OIIT has promoted the creation and support of a communication infrastructure for GeorgiaVIEW Vista Institutional Administrators. In conjunction with USG institutions, OIIT would like to expand this community-building and communication framework to include USG faculty members. The purpose of this listserv community is to promote pedagogical discussions & best practices pertaining to online learning; to share how to best utilize GeorgiaVIEW Vista's functionality to meet the needs of fully online, hybrid, and supplemental courses; to explore application features & functionality; and to discuss topics related to the teaching & learning experience, using technology and online resources.
IMPORTANT: This list is not a forum for “venting” about the Board of Regents, the University System of Georgia, the GeorgiaVIEW project, or the Vista product. Constructive criticism is welcome, however. See Protocols & Procedures for additional information.
