How do I update the GALILEO toolbar?

Answer

To see updates to the toolbar in Internet Explorer:

  1. Go to the left dropdown menu of the toolbar
  2. Click LibX preferences
  3. Go to the Updates tab
  4. Click the Check for Updates button
  5. Click Download Updates
  6. When it is finished installing the updates, you will need to restart your browser

To see updates in Firefox:

  1. Go to Tools
  2. Choose Add-ons
  3. Click on Extensions in the top of the Add-ons window
  4. Click the Find Updates button at the bottom of the Add-ons window
  5. Click Install Updates
  6. Restart Firefox
Some versions of Firefox have options that allow users to choose to have Firefox automatically check for updates to add-ons. Go to Tools > Options... > Advanced > Update tab to manage this.
