How do I search databases when the GALILEO Search feature isn't working?

When the GALILEO search feature is unavailable, resources can still be accessed and searched via their native interfaces. This means a user can still access the interface for Business Source Complete, Grove Art Online, Kids Search, SIRS Discoverer etc. They just won't be able to search those resources via the search features within the GALILEO interfaces.
In the unexpected event that the GALILEO search function is not working, users can access databases and journals/magazines in GALILEO in many ways. Here are some examples (listed by GALILEO user view):
GALILEO Scholar, GALILEO Library, and GALILEO High School
- Select the "Articles and Databases" subtab (to the right of the search subtab) within a subject category to be taken to a list of resources associated with the subject category. Clicking on a link to a database or other resource will take the user to the database's interface.
- Locate databases and other resources by browsing or searching within the "Databases A-Z" tab. This feature provides a comprehensive list of resources available to users.
- Locate specific full-text journals by searching or browsing within the Journals A-Z or Magazines A-Z tab.
GALILEO Teen
- Select either the "By Type," "By Topic," or "All Resources" tab to be taken to lists of applicable resources. Clicking on a link to a database or other resource will take the user to the database's interface.
