Find It, which is powered by the SFX software, is a tool that utilizes OpenURL linking functionality to provide direct links from a database citation to the full text of a subscribed journal article or other full-text resource, if available. From a particular resource, a user can click on the Find It @ GALILEO button to link directly to the full text of an e-journal article in a different resource, availability of print format, or interlibrary loan options.
Find It also provides an avenue for presenting a searchable A-Z ejournal list within GALILEO that contains links to full-text ejournals that are indexed within GALILEO-managed databases such as EBSCOhost.
During the initial phases of the GALILEO Upgrade Project, only GALILEO-managed databases were configured within Find IT (SFX); however, it is now possible to request the inclusion of locally-managed resources within Find It. For more information and access to your SFX-Local Resource Integration (SFX-LRI) Workspace, please submit a comment to GALILEO using the Contact Us form.
