Goals:

  1. Provide seamless access to a virtual library on Georgia history and culture that combines DLG databases with resources available through other repositories, organizations, and vendors.
  2. Build a site that provides self-sufficient information seeking, meeting the needs of Georgians across a broad range of ages and educational backgrounds and for a variety of uses, including structured learning in schools and higher education, lifelong learning, scholarship, and personal interest.
  3. Promote new resources, and deliver content on digital library standards and best practices.

Objective:

The objective of the redesign is to achieve the goals listed above through an ongoing and inclusive process informed by usability assessment.
