PeopleTools 7.62 Upgrade - Final Reminder

This is a reminder to you that your PeopleSoft Financials and HRMS production databases will be brought down at 6:00 pm on the evening of Thursday, October 10 so that they may be updated with the PeopleTools 7.62 upgrade. At 7:00 am on the morning of Friday, October 11, your databases will be ready for you to begin the installation of PeopleTools 7.62 to your workstations. Remember, you cannot access your database until the workstation installation is complete. Please follow the instructions for "Workstation Install" that were sent to you on October 3 in an email to the ListServs.
Please note this small amendment to the installation instructions: local technical support staff, who are installing both client applications (i.e. HRMS and Financials) on a machine to which the end user is logged in, should not restart Windows after the first installation unless the end user is there to log back in. This would prevent them from installing the second application, and from setting up the Switcher configuration in advance.
