PeopleTools 7.62 Upgrade - Announcement regarding availability of file server components

The File Server components for the PeopleTools Upgrade will be available at 8:00 tomorrow morning (Friday, October 4, 2002) at the following address: http://swdist.gafirst.usg.edu/hr
I have attached a document containing specific installation instructions for installing the file server and workstation components of PeopleTools 7.62 Upgrade. This document replaces the one that was distributed on September 27, 2002. Due to some confusion, the reference to passwords (under section 6) has been modified.
As a reminder - you should download this upgrade and apply it to a test environment only, following the instructions in this document! You may use your HPLAY75 database to proceed with your testing. Do not install it in your production environment until after your production databases have been updated. Your database update will take place the evening of October 10, 2002 and will be ready for you to perform your update to production at 7:00 am on the morning of October 11, 2002. If, for some reason, the databases are not available by 7:00 am on the morning of October 11, we will notify you.
