TAX811GA - State Unemployment/Quarterly Tax and Wage Report (Files Produced)

PeopleSoft HRMS Known Issues and Information:
TAX811GA (Employer's Quarterly Tax and Wage Report):
This process is used to generate the quarterly wage list data file for submission to the Georgia Department of Labor via diskette. The file format was updated in Release 2.02 to reflect changes in the DOL specifications (as referenced in the Release notes for 2.02). The changes are as follows:
-The filenams.date file will no longer be produced because the DOL no longer requires this information.
-Six files will be produced
- xxxxxxx.WGS (where xxxxxx is the GDOL employer id#) -- This is the datafile that contains data on each employee. This will be the only file that will be copied to the diskette.
- TAX811GA2.lis-- This report contains the totals necessary to complete form DOL-4 Part II which you will submit along with your diskette. Additionally the file contains a listing of employees with earnings less than or equal to zero to assist you in determining whether a DOL-3C is required. The DOL-3C is necessary for those employees with earnings less than zero (negative earnings).
- tax811ga.lis -- This file is a report of the information contained in the data file for your internal use. Because of the availability of this file, users should no longer run the ESA-4 State Wage Report (BORR135) located at Go > Board of Regents > BOR Payroll > Payroll > EAS-4 State Wage Report. The BORR135 will be removed from the panel in a future release.
- tempcomp -- temporary file that is created in the process but is not used
- tempempl -- temporary file that is created in the process but is not used
- sqrxxxx.log (where xxxx is the instance number) -- sqr log. When you open your sqr log, please do not be alarmed to see a message that states
" ***No data selected for specified conditions***". This is an erroneous message and the TAX811ga.sqr is currently being modified to eliminate this message.
