BCBS Interface Error: Input value not long enough for date format
Please distribute the following as needed:
Failure of the BCBS Interface with this error message in the SQR log indicates that user has a missing date somewhere in health benefits data. This can be identified by reviewing the USG0XXX.txt (where XXX is the company code) file in the users C:\gnupg directory for the last person on the file. Usually, this indicates the last employee on the file is also the one who caused the process to fail. Users can then review employee and dependent health benefits and personal information for missing dates - this error is caused most commonly by a missing birthdate on a dependent. The reason why the SQR fails is due to the fact that birthdates and effective dates are absolutely critical in QCare and the file would fail to load in QCare without this information.
The error will look like this on the SQR log:
***Hxxx***123456*** BORI021 Ver 2.20 Begin: 02:35:01 PM
Blue Cross / Blue Shield (BCBS) Interface Extract
Report End Date: 10-JUN-2003
*** BORAPI.SQC.bor-insert-in-log *** $SysDateTime ***
