Leave Accrual - SICFAC Benefit Plan

Leave Accrual - SICFAC Benefit Plan:

When the accrual process is run for a leave plan with an accrual rate set to zero (such as SICFAC in June and July), PeopleSoft will update the accrual date on an employee's most recent Leave Accrual Record unless the previous leave record containsÊ unprocessed leave.

For example, an employee's 5/31/02 SICFAC record will be updated to 6/30/02 unless leave was taken or adjusted. Likewise, running the accrual process in July will update the 6/30/02 row to 7/31/02. After running the accrual process in July, employees who have been continuously enrolled in SICFAC will have leave records dated 4/30/02 followed by a record dated 7/31/02 unless leave was accrued, taken or adjusted in May or June.

The Hours Balance and Hours Value are correct for all monthly leave accrual records.
