Quarter End Processing - Tax Reporting Parameters panel

Due to the timing of PeopleSoft Tax Updates, you may receive an error message "Form/Year combination not supported" when trying to complete Step 1A of the Quarter End Processing Checklist.Ê If you do not, please disregard this message.

You will see this error on both the Manage Annual Tax Reporting => Setup => Tax Reporting Parameters panel, and the Manage Quarterly Tax Reporting => Setup => Tax Reporting Parameters panel.

In order to resolve this issue, you will have to navigate to Manage Annual Tax Reporting => Setup => Tax Form Print Parameters => Correction, and proceed with the following steps:

1. After selecting the menu option, click OK to bring up the full list of tax forms (or you can narrow it down by selecting the W-2 form from the drop-down box, and then clicking OK).
2. If there is currently no 1/1/02 W-2 row, proceed to step #5.
3. Open up the 1/1/02 W-2 tax form, delete the entire row (on the outside scroll bar), and save the panel.
4. 'X' out of that panel, and go back into that menu option either in Update/Display or Correction mode.
5. Open up the 1/1/01 W-2 tax form.
6. Insert a new row on the outer scroll bar. Today's date will default, change this to 1/1/02, and save.
7. Now proceed with setting up Tax Reporting Parameters per step 1A of the Quarter End Checklist.

This issue should be corrected in Peoplesoft HRMS release 2.08, scheduled for May 2002.
