Blue Cross/Blue Shield Interface and Student Status Date

The Blue Cross/Blue Shield Interface does not include student status date information in the interface file. The only information that is sent is an indicator that qualifies an overage dependent as a student. The field is called Overage Reason and it will be populated with an "S" if you have checked the Student Status box on in the Dependent/Beneficiary panels in PeopleSoft. Currently there is no way to update the corresponding student status date field in QCare other than to notify BCBSGA and request that the field be manually updated with the student's prospective graduation date.

Also, a reminder that per business process BEN145, users cannot send more than one file per day.
