Comprehensive Benefits Report (BORR025) - COBRA Participants
On August 29th a Known Issues and Information item was released concerning identified issues on the Comprehensive Benefits Report (BORR025). Two issues dealt with COBRA participants: (1) Non-employee ("C" record) COBRA participants are omitted from the report and (2) COBRA participants that change benefit plans after electing COBRA are also being omitted. We have since learned that the issues are as follows:
- Non-employee ("C" record) COBRA participants are on the report, but under the original employees id/name.
- COBRA participants that change benefit plans after electing COBRA are on the report, they are just reported under the original benefit plan. The benefit plan on the COBRA participant table is never updated by PeopleSoft.
Until the issue is resolved, we suggest you run the COBRA Enrollment Report to verify the correct COBRA coverage and adjust the BORR025 as needed. These issues have no effect on you COBRA billing.
